In this weekly blog, senior Haley Ward shares a little bit of everything: deep dives on her favorite topics, her fashion favorites, and how to make the most out of your high school years.

Hi! This is a shorter blog post this week, because it is finals week for my dual credit class! But it is the holiday season, so I thought I should share my must watch holiday movie guide.

Daddy’s Home 2

To most people this is not even a Christmas movie, but it is my favorite Christmas movie ever! This is such a feel good movie. The actors combined with the plot make this movie the best. I feel like this movie actually never gets old!

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

The Grinch is a favorite to many, and whether you prefer the animated or the live action, either is great! I love the nostalgia of the original movie, but the animated one is so cute.

Home Alone and Elf

Both Christmas classics, you cannot go wrong with these options. Every year I rewatch them and they never get old.

The Holiday

If you want a rom com Christmas movie, that is not too hallmarky, then this is your movie!

The Santa Clause

The Santa Clause movies are so magical during the holiday season. All of the sequels are also so much fun to watch.

Christmas with the Kranks and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

More classic Christmas movies that I watch every year with my family!

Spirited

I watched this movie last year and it was the perfect mix of comedy and holiday. I love Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell, so them being together made the movie so good.

The Polar Express, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

I could not make this list and forget about more classics. While you probably would not find me just sitting down and watching these, they definitely will be on in the background.

That is it for this week!

Happy Holidays!

Love, Haley
