The Awards Ceremony at a MUN conference is when delegates get to see if their hard work paid off. The Secretary General gives his opening remarks and begins the commencement of awards.

Model UN competed in a state-wide competition that finished on Sunday where students shared solutions to real-life political issues with others in a mock United Nations session. Eight Redhawks won awards including the two chair awards.

This weekend, 19 Redhawks will be competing in the Model United Nations state competition at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Dallas. They will be simulating a session of the United Nations, as well as debating with other participants from schools across Texas.
