Girls basketball will continue district play Thursday when they play Emerson. Although break begins Friday, the team will continue to practice and have district games.

The girls’ basketball hopes to continue their two game District 10-5A win streak when they take on Emerson Thursday at 5:45 p.m.

“We’re gonna play with a team that’s probably gonna be fighting for a playoff spot,” head girls basketball coach Ross Reedy said. “So we want to be able to see us make a move forward, where we can kind of really assert our will and, and our dominance.”

The Redhawks will continue practicing and playing during the two week period off from school with two district games and the Sandra Meadows Classic.

“The team is doing pretty decent so far; we’ve been playing more together as a team and we’ll continue succeeding,” junior Anaiah Warrior said. “I feel pretty good about the games over the break. I feel like we will do good and play our best.”
