Girls basketball can not be stopped as they continued their win streak Friday with 56 points over Centennial. The team stays top of the District 10-5A table with a record of 9-0.

Traveling down Rolater to Centennial on Friday, the Redhawks girls basketball team soared well above the Titans coming out with a 66-10 win.

“We did wonderful I feel like we really pushed through and ran through the plays well against Centennial,” Christal Webb said. “Even though [Centennial is] not good, we still adverse through it and put all the effort on the court.”

The girls continue to stand top of the District 10-5A table with a record of 9-0, but assistant coach Jayci Morton still believes there are things the team can work on.

“I think in that game specifically we could have done a better job with our defensive principals, especially down the stretch of the game,” Morton said. “I think we started out well, but as the game went on, I think we could have done a better job of staying disciplined.”
