Taking on the Emerson Mavericks for the second time this season, the Redhawks were able to extend their record to 10-0 with a 54-17 win.
“Our mindset is trying to figure out ways to get better,” head coach Ross Reedy said. “No disrespect to anybody that we’ve faced more recently, but because there’s been some we’ve won by bigger margins we have to figure out small ways to get better. Not just focus on the score and not focus on those things.”
The first time the Redhawks faced off against Emerson, they only won by five points. This time around, the team won by a 37 point margin.
“The big win definitely gives us more confidence,” junior Anaiah Warrior said. “The first time we played them we had a couple girls out, but this time we had them back.”
