It’s their final game of District 10-5A play, and their perfect record is on the line. The girls’ basketball team will take on Independence Tuesday, in hopes of securing a record of 14-0.

Sitting pretty at the top of the District 10-5A table, the Redhawks girls’ basketball team will take on Lebanon Trail Friday for the second time this season at Lebanon Trail.

“We’ve been executing pretty well in the later half of the year since about the beginning of December,” head coach Ross Reedy said. “So really it’s just continue executing well, continue sharing the ball and encouraging each other, we want to see the little things again.”

Although Lebanon Trail is just 4-6 in district play, and the Redhawks are 10-0, Reedy doesn’t want his team to overlook anybody.

“Whether it’s a really really good team or a team that maybe is, like you said, not at the top of the table, then they kind of just keep the same mentality,” Reedy said. “Go play, and so far we’ve handled those situations pretty well, and so I don’t expect anything less.”
