The boys’ basketball team heads to Heritage High School on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. to face the 7-2 Coyotes.
“Our guys do a great job of executing our offense, and we have to be ready to take advantage of the opportunities that come our way,” assistant coach Bo Wilson said. “We’ve talked in depth about taking care of the little things, for example, communication, and rebounding. Those are two pieces of the game that don’t take a ton of skill, but they’re essential to being successful.”
The second place Coyotes are expected to be a difficult matchup.
“We expect a lot of pressure because Heritage is a long and athletic team and they just play really, really hard,” sophomore Gilbert Aluga said. “If we can handle that pressure and score whenever we get the opportunities, then it’ll be a good game.”
