Soccer heads into their third week of district play in a head-to-head match-up against Emerson Tuesday. The boys will be looking to build off of their first win last Friday against Independence, while the girls continue their search for that first win.
“We’re going to try to play to our strengths,” assistant coach Kyle Parks said. “We’re going to try to play our own gameplay to our strengths and defend as a full team.”
Down about Friday’s loss, junior Lily Gibbons is looking to turn over a new leaf Tuesday.
“Emerson is a new team, and we will hopefully get better results,” Gibbons said. “Friday’s game was pretty devastating, but we should be able to bounce back.”
