With both teams not having won in recent games, the Redhawks hope to change that Tuesday against the Warriors. The first time these two groups met up the boys’ and girls’ both lost.

Soccer plays their final game of the first half of District 10-5A play Tuesday against Centennial. The girls come off a dry win spell but hope to turn it around on Tuesday and achieve their first win.

“It would be good for us to go into the next half with a win,” junior Lily Gibbons said. “We just need to have a better mindset and apply what we have been learning.”

On the other hand, the boys are on a three game winning streak and hoping to continue their luck against the Titans.

“We’ve turned it around,” assistant coach Kyle Parks said. “We’ve got three straight wins, but more importantly, we haven’t given up any goals in three and a half games. So we’ve had a lot of successes a lot, a lot of good things happening. We’d love to get a result but not just about winning.”
