Playing seven games in the first half of district play, the Redhawks soccer teams played their final one on Tuesday. The Redhawks took on the Titians with the girls falling 3-1, while the boys ended in a tie, 0-0.

The Redhawks soccer teams closed out the first half of District 10-5A on Tuesday against Centennial. The boys ended their three game winning streak, although not with a loss a 0-0 tie to the Titians.

“It’s definitely frustrating to tie, but at least it was not a loss,” sophomore Joey Mediaceja said. “We did pretty good this first half, hope to continue it onto the next.”

The girls ultimately couldn’t catch up to the Titians losing 3-1, now moving into the second half of the season without a win.

“Not how we wanted this first half to go,” junior Lily Gibbons said. “But, there is also still seven more games to be played. We can learn from this first half and apply it.”
