Both Redhawks soccer teams took on Emerson on Tuesday for the second time this season, both teams walked away without losses to the Mavericks
The Redhawks girls’ team soared above their competition achieving their first win of the season in a 1-0 long awaited win.
“It was really exciting and felt good to get a confidence boost,” senior Cate Butcher said. “We played the ball simple and to feet, and won most first and second balls by staying aggressive.”
While not walking away with a loss, the boys did, however, tie the Mavericks 1-1.
“It’s a little frustrating just cause we did beat them the first time we played them,” junior Lucas Godoy said. “But we still did some good things on the field.”
