As many people on campus were resting on spring break, the Redhawks baseball team was hard at work competing in their first two district games against Emerson Tuesday and Wednesday beating the Mavericks 5-2 and 4-3.
“I feel good, I think we did a lot of really good things,” assistant coach Easton Moore said. “[We are] really starting to come together as a group and really starting to do what it takes to win games.”
Even though starting their season on a high, there is always room for improvement.
“Feels good to sweep Emerson, we showed integrity throughout both games,” junior Jack Moran said. “But one thing we could improve on is choosing better pitches to hit.”
