Needing a win Tuesday to secure a playoff spot, the Redhawks baseball team missed their chance with a 11-0 loss to the Centennial Titians. It is now up to the season’s final game to determine if the Redhawks will advance.
The Redhawks baseball team did not get the results they were looking for Tuesday as they lost 11-0 to Centennial.
“We need to play more loose, and stop making mental mistakes,” senior Ian Garza said. “Be more competitive at bats and pitches.”
The game was a must need win in order to up their playoff chances, however with a loss their destiny is still a toss up. There is only one more game left in District 10-5A play with a four way tie for fourth.
“It was very frustrating especially because we have must win game tomorrow to have any shot at playoffs,” Garza said. “Luckily a win most likely puts us in playoffs, but it is still not guaranteed.”
