The varsity volleyball team won their first match of the 2024-25 school year 3-1 against McKinney North on Tuesday.
Redhawks volleyball took the bite out of the McKinney North HS Bulldogs’ bark Tuesday at The Nest, beating them 3-1 in their first non-district match of the season.
“We are proud of the girls for a good battle,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “Our communication and defense were both very strong and contributed heavily to our win. We fought hard for our wins, and our takeaway is the girls are ready and willing to compete with really strong teams.”
Senior Brooklynn Brown believes shot selection was key to the Redhawks’ victory.
“We were able to get around some of their really big and quick-tempo players to score,” Brown said.
