Wingspan: When and why did you start playing volleyball?
Brown: “I started when I was five years old because I was just trying a bunch of different sports.”
Wingspan: What is your favorite part about volleyball?
Brown: “Just getting to play with my friends and celebrating each other’s success.”
Wingspan: Who is your biggest supporter?
Brown: “My parents because they are very invested in all the games and they show me love no matter the outcome of the game.”
Wingspan: Who is your biggest inspiration?
Brown: “My parents because they are my biggest supporters and have always showed me the importance of working hard.”
Wingspan: What are you most excited about this season?
Brown: “I’m honestly just excited for districts because I’m very confident we will make it far. I’m just excited to get to bond with my team as the season goes on.”
Wingspan: Who will be the Redhawks’ toughest competitor?
Brown: “I’m nervous for our Memorial game because they have been our biggest challenge in the past.”
Wingspan: Will you continue volleyball outside of high school?
Brown: “No, I will not because as fun as volleyball has been, I am excited to take on a new chapter as a college student and focus on my career.”
