The Frisco CTE Competitive Mock Trial Team is holding their annual tryouts on Thursday at the CTE Center from 6 to 7 p.m. Students (and their parents) who are interested in law and advocacy are encouraged to try out.
The competitive mock trial team has historically done very well at state competitions, coming in 2nd place the past three years. The selection process for the team has also been very competitive with only about five or six members making the team each year.
The CTE training rooms offer limited seating, and historically, the turnout for the meeting has exceeded the number of seats available, which will be first come first serve. Students should keep in mind that a parent is also required to attend, which will take up more seats.
