After winning their last two games, the Redhawk tennis team walked away with a loss of 5-14 in a tough match against Lebanon Trail on Tuesday.
“The match was a tough one, LT is tough and has a very good boys team,” assistant coach David Sands said. “We came out with a lot of energy at the start of doubles, playing really well. I was proud that our kids still caught hard in singles but just came up short.”
Senior varsity player Jaikiran Kambalimath Nagaraj is looking to improve certain skills, both team and individual.
“I think we need to improve serves, doubles, and general compatibility within the team,” Nagaraj said. “We also need to improve our own individual skills.”
