The Denison Yellow Jackets dealt the Redhawks a 49-0 loss at the Ford Center Thursday night in District 4-5A play leaving the football team 0-8.
“We really just shot ourselves in the foot,” senior Zein Amer said. “We had lots of errors on both the defense and offense.”
Even though the Redhawks are yet to win a game this season, senior Khaleb Cooper is proud of the effort he and his teammates have put on the field.
“It definitely sucks,” Cooper said. “We want a win so bad and even after all the losses though we all still show up to practice. And I’m proud of us for doing that.”
