The Redhawks girls’ basketball team (4-5) takes on La Vega (8-3) Thursday at 5:45 p.m. at The Nest, hoping to apply the skills they have been practicing.
“I think a key skill [we need to win the next game] is moving on offense and having multiple waves of attack to break pressure and make easy buckets,” junior Lilian Johnson said.
Head coach Ross Reedy feels the defensive assignments are extremely important for the upcoming game.
“We need to focus on the defensive assignments, we’re going to have to play very specific to the team that we’re coming up against,” Reedy said. “They have some really good personnel and so it’s not so much skills per say, just our defensive assignments and really fast ball and body speed.”
