Wingspan: When and why did you start playing basketball?
Williams: “I started playing basketball in the second grade and I started playing because I wanted to try a new sport.”
Wingspan: Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
Williams: “My biggest inspiration is Jared McCain because he’s big on social media and he’s always working to get better. I love the way he plays and I feel I can relate to him and the things he does.”
Wingspan: Who is your biggest supporter and why?
Williams: “My biggest supporter is definitely my mom because she’s always helping me get in the gym, and taking me places, and giving me the best advice while holding me accountable in all aspects of my life.”
Wingspan: What is the toughest part about basketball?
Williams: “The toughest part about basketball is being able to stay mentally in the game and being ready for anything.”
Wingspan: How have you been preparing for the season?
Williams: “I’ve been getting in the gym working on all my weaknesses to help my team and me get better.”
Wingspan: What are your goals this season?
Williams: “My goal is to make playoffs and improve all my stats from last year.”
Wingspan: Do you plan to play basketball after high school? Why or why not?
Williams: “I do wanna play college basketball because I love the game. I wanna pursue basketball as far as I can.”
