Wingspan: When and why did you start playing soccer?

Godoy: “I started playing soccer when I was about three because my parents forced me. But, I fell in love with it as soon as I started playing.”

Wingspan: What do you do after a game when you do not feel you performed your best?

Godoy: “I just try to think about what I can improve on and focus on the next game.”

Wingspan: What is your favorite part about playing soccer?

Godoy: “My favorite part is being part of a team, especially when we are playing well and winning.”

Wingspan: Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

Godoy: “My biggest inspiration is Neymar because he plays like he’s having fun and enjoying himself on the field.”

Wingspan: What do you hope to accomplish this season?

Godoy: “We’re hoping to finish top three in the district and hopefully make a run in playoffs.”

Wingspan How has the team been preparing?

Godoy: “We’ve been getting game ready by doing fitness and scrimmaging within ourselves to see how we’re going to play this year.”

Wingspan: Do you plan to play soccer after high school why or why not/ 

Godoy: “I will definitely play for sure after high school. Maybe not for a college team but definitely for fun.”
