The Redhawks cheer team will perform at the UIL Show Offs on Thursday at 6:25 p.m. The showcase will feature teams from all twelve Frisco ISD high schools and will be held at Wakeland from 6 – 8 p.m. The event is a means to celebrate the cheer teams before they start competition season.
With the UIL Competition on Jan. 5th, this showcase gives the Redhawks the opportunity to show some of what they’ve been working on.
“We just started choreography and I can say that I believe this has been the best start we have so far,” varsity cheer coach Kandy Stevens said.
As a kick off to the season, the show offs bring excitement for the cheerleaders.
“We’re in the very beginning stage and I think it’s gonna get better and better. We’re doing great so far and I’m excited for this season,” freshman Georgia Jackson said.
