Setting aside tournament competition for a day, the boys’ wrestling team competed in District Duals Wednesday at Centennial with the Redhawks finishing in 7th place, going 3-3 on the day.
“At the boys district duels all of our wrestlers performed very well and put up with some tough competition for sure but ended up pulling it all together and trying their hardest,” boys’ head coach Justin Koons said.
District Duals allowed the wrestlers to see some of their potential competition at the District 8-5A tournament in January.
“As a team I feel that we are growing in skill but there is definitely room for improvement,” senior Willaim Randolph said. “My match went well and everyone else on the team just did a good job and gave it their all.”
