The Redhawks boys’ basketball team (12-7, 0-1) lost their first game of district play 57-48 against their rivals, the Centennial Titans (11-5, 1-0), at home Tuesday.

The Redhawks boys’ basketball team (12-7, 0-1) lost their first game of district play 57-48 against their rivals, the Centennial Titans (11-5, 1-0), at home Tuesday.

“We just let our old mistakes get the best of us too often and we were inconsistent with our scoring and our technique,” head coach Bruce Wright said. 

Boys’ basketball players declined to respond to a request.

Zachary Moland is a junior in his third year on the Wingspan staff. He is also a member of Academic Decathlon and NHS and a third-generation Eagle Scout. Outside of school, Zachary can be found listening to music; reading; watching movies, The Newsroom, and ER; and writing. Christine Han is a senior and this will be her third year on the Wingspan staff. She manages social media for Wingspan and is also a photographer. She will be participating in her 4th year with the CTE Competitive Mock Trial Team. In her free time she likes to work in various women’s rights groups, read books, watch movies, and hang out with her friends. If she’s not too busy, she also likes to bake.
