Architecture students have an opportunity to get real-world experience with the ACE architecture, construction, and engineering mentor program.
A group of architects have seen the need for new architects in the community and have created this mentorship program working to inspire the next generation of architects.
“That was because they saw a huge need in the Dallas Metroplex for offering a program to students to help expose them to architecture construction and the built environment engineering industries like mechanical, instructional, and electrical,” head ace mentor Samantha Markham said.
Not only is the ACE mentorship program working to inspire the next generation of architects, but it will also provide connections through the mentors that could help students after their high school years.
“A big part of what we encourage in this program is to get to know their mentors and to stay in touch with their mentors after the program is over so they can reach out for advice while in college, potential internships, and then full time jobs later on,” Markham said.
