For many Redhawks the snow storm that hit the area on Jan. 9 meant a few days at home, but for the Redhawks wrestling team some snow on the ground wasn’t enough to prevent the team from competing.
“Over the snow days we had matches at the Trojan Classic,” head coach Justin Koons said. “Everyone did good, especially Dani Banks and Angel Marchiri. Dani got 2nd and Angel got 3rd in their weight classes. The boys side did well but the team overall needs some improvement before districts which are coming up.”
