After a few days of high wind, the Redhawks baseball team (2-2) seeks to get on the forecasts of their next opponents by unleashing a storm of “red rain” upon Panther Creek (0-0), Lakeview Centennial (0-1), and Reedy (0-0) over the next two days.
The Redhawks ace the Panthers at 3 p.m. at Plano High School Thursday followed by the Patriots at 8 p.m. at Independence, and finally the Lions at 10 a.m Friday. at the Riders Field.
“We’re a young set of guys, but starting to figure out our game, starting to compete a little harder, and just feel well prepared for any opponent we have to face,” head coach Scott McGarrh said. “We’ve scouted and practiced for our opponents, so we’ll be able to compete.”
Looking forward to facing a variety of rivals, senior Luke LeBlanc is ready to adjust to their distinct styles
“We have an idea of what they all might try to do, but the games rely on what we see in the first few innings, and how we change to put the game in our favor,” Mercer said.
