Prom is over and might I say it feels like a relief. Not just because of my disease but in general to get the stressful event over with feels great.
Like I have stated in previous articles stress does have an impact on my health, and a negative one. Getting that over with I can definitely feel my body start to gain some of its energy back.
Shaking I found was a common issue last week and I was worried it would be bad for prom photos. I was standing in my friend’s house waiting to leave for photos when my friend asked me if I was okay. I confused looked at her and was like yeah? To me my symptoms were fine, but she told me she could see me visibly shaking. I am one super grateful to have friends like her who watch out for me and even get me some food to help with the shaking. Secondly, Saturday reminded me again of self-awareness I need to be having. My shaking did end up stopping by the time photos came up and I was able to snap some good ones!
Next week I will touch on my oxygen studies I have to participate in. I can’t wait to continue to share my story with you! Remember our struggles don’t define us.
