After Frisco ISD’s decision to delay the opening of four new schools, the district is seeking further ideas for cost savings from the community. Frisco ISD invites community members to attend the district’s first priorities-based budget stakeholder committee meeting Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the CTE Center training rooms.

The group works to provide feedback and insight as the district works to create a balanced and sustainable budget for 2017-18 and following years. Members of the community will have the chance to brainstorm and share their ideas and recommendations for long term saving opportunities and strategies.

Community members can also submit feedback regarding district priorities or budget ideas on a form on the district website by Nov. 18.
