Early voting for the Nov. 8 ends Friday. Polling locations open at 7 a.m. and close 12 hours later at 7 p.m.

To vote, a person needs to be a registered voter and needs to have one of the following forms of identification:

• a Texas Drivers License
• a Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS
• a Texas personal identification card issued by DPS
• a Texas license to carry a handgun issued by DPS
• a United States military identification card containing the person’s photograph
• a United States citizenship certificate containing the person’s photograph
• or a United States passport
