Track and field athletes competed in the Area Meet Thursday at Standridge Stadium in Carrollton with top qualifiers advancing to the 5A Region II meet at UT-Arlington April 28-29. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams finished in 3rd place with each sending several athletes to the regional meet.
