Graduation for the class of 2017 is Saturday at the Dr Pepper Arena with proceedings scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. A ticket is required to attend, but ceremonies will be available to watch live online and on-demand free of charge.

“I’m just glad it’s almost over,” senior Hannah McKenzie said. “To be in grade school since four years old and finally making to the end is one of the greatest feelings.”

With seven high schools in the district, ceremonies will be divided between Friday and Saturday at both the Dr Pepper Arena and The Star.

“I think it’s a good thing, it’s definitely more for our parents to be proud of us,” senior Brooks Seale said. “I don’t think any of us are all that excited to just walk across a stage.”
