The school board will discuss plans for 2018-19 attendance zones at Monday’s meeting at the Frisco ISD Administration building. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the Board of Trustees will go immediately into a closed session, but will open up for the public at 7:30 p.m.

The meeting will discuss many topics with one centered on possible rezoning for the 2018-19 school year as preliminary attendance zones will be presented. In November, public hearings will be held to provide feedback on the proposed zones with the school board expected to finalize attendance zones in December.

According to the Frisco ISD website, the district focuses on five core components: capacity, stability, effective utilization of space, proximity, and community with an ultimate goal of satisfying both students and parents.
