Golf teams finish in top 3 at Rockwall

Tuesday’s tournament in Rockwall saw the boys golf team finish 3rd while the girls finished 2nd.

The boys and girls golf teams spent Tuesday off campus as they took part in the Rockwall Tournament. The girls placed 2nd as a team with junior Loren Matrone leading the way shooting a 74 to finish 4th in medalist standings. On the boys side, it was senior Chase Fritz setting the pace for the team’s 3rd place finish. Fritz also shot a 74 to finish 5th in the medalist standings for boys.

The team’s next tournament is Monday at Lantana Country Club.
