The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees hosted it’s monthly meeting Monday starting with a public session at 7:30 p.m. in the Frisco ISD administration building.

The meeting began at 6:30 p.m. with a closed session and resumed approximately an hour later with a discussion on the 2016-2017 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) in which Frisco ISD was designated as having “met standard”.

The TAPR report also revealed that Frisco ISD students participate in more advanced placement classes and perform better in them than the state in general.

Other items on Monday’s agenda included: Frisco ISD being named to the advanced placement honor roll, transportation job fair, and future librarian information night.
