Incoming freshman students and their parents got their first major glimpse of the campus as the class of 2022 Monday night from 6-8 p.m. at the school’s Redhawk Rally.

“I feel like we had a great turnout at Redhawk Rally,” counselor Staci Stokes said. “People were overflowing and coming throughout the entire event and some weren’t even able to get a seat, so there were definitely a ton of families there which was really great because they got to hear a presentation, meet teachers and coaches and ask questions.”

One of the programs that featured an overflowing crowd was the two-year GT Humanities course.

“We were a little bit shocked,” Humanities teacher Sarah Wiseman said. “We have 60 seats in our classroom and all of those filled up super quickly and so I went and got two stacks of chairs from the cafeteria and people were still standing at the back of the classroom. I definitely did not anticipate that.”
