Katharina Santos visits Legacy Hall and has a taste at one of Glazed Donut Works’ vegan donut options, Maple Pecan.

As a foodie myself, I had to make sure I got a close look of all that this new edition to the area has to offer. The first stop made was to Glazed Donut Works. The only vegan option available at the moment was the Pecan Maple Donut. The shop makes sure that there is at least one vegan option on the menu every day before opening.

To be honest, I am not a fan of cake donuts myself, however it was delicious. The sugar, maple frosting with chopped pecans topped the cake donut off perfectly  The donut wasn’t too big, so the flavors weren’t overwhelming.

My siblings also tried the Maple Bacon, Chocolate Nutella & S’mores donuts. They loved how light the dough was and how each and every flavor blended perfectly together.

The next stop made was to FreshFin Poké Co where the Orange Theory Bowl with super rice minus the raw fish was tried. The bowl included green and red onions, edamame, avocado, mango, radish, carrots, a dash of salt, and a drizzle of coconut, lime dressing.

The freshness of the ingredients stood out, and the fact that everything was made at the moment and with local produce makes the Orange Theory bowl a delicious and filling dish.

My brother and sister made their way to Press Waffle Co. They decided to go with The House Waffle, topped with Nutella, cookie butter, fresh cut strawberries, and freshly made whipped cream and The Kiddos, topped with chocolate syrup, bananas, strawberries, whipped cream and colored sprinkles.

Words weren’t needed to explain their delight as chocolate covered their cheeks and whipped cream topped their noses. Although it was relatively sweet, they definitely recommend and would order from Press Waffle again.

With more than 30 food and beverage stalls to entice a variety of tastes, Legacy Hall is the perfect place for couples, families or a big groups to find something for everyone.
