Frisco ISD council of PTA’s has a spirit night at tonight’s Rough Riders game at Dr. Pepper BallparkAs part of the pre-game entertainment, Red Rhythm will perform on a different field than they are accustomed to.

“I think the biggest difference between performing on a baseball field and a football field is just the space,” sophomore Ellie Cline said. “We were told we only have 20 feet, and that’s a lot for 35 girls to fit into 20 feet whereas a football field is way past that. So, that’s just our biggest challenge.”

Red Rhythm director Nicole Nothe believes this opportunity will garner far reaching benefits.

“I believe it’s going to benefit the girls because it’s an opportunity for them to perform from the community, perform for the RoughRiders, which we’ve never performed at a baseball game before,” Nothe said, “as well as represent one of the high school drill teams in FISD.”

Following the game, a fireworks show will take place. Tickets to the game are $13 and can be purchased at ridersbaseball.com/friscoisd.
