Juniors throughout Frisco ISD got the chance to jumpstart their pre-college agenda on for next school year at a college preview event Wednesday.

Eleventh graders from all Frisco ISD high schools clustered in the Lone Star High School auditorium Wednesday in order to attend Just for Juniors: College Admissions 101 to receive a leg up in the college admissions process during their senior year.

The orientation began with instructions and tips regarding each major step of the application process, including the essay, submitting a transcript, and taking multiple college visits.

Students and parents then got the opportunity to submit specific questions to be answered by a panel of thirteen universities in the region, including Texas A&M, University of Texas at Austin, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Oklahoma.

In attending this presentation, students across the district were able to receive the insight of extremely diverse college cultures.
