The National Honor Society for Dance Arts induction is taking place Wednesday from 5 to 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium on campus.

In order to be inducted dance students must have taken three years of dance classes and have up to 30 points: which can be received from attending events related to dance such as classes and shows.

“I’m really excited to be inducted into NHSDA because it looks really good on college applications” said junior Brooke Stephens “and we’ve been involved in this for 3 years now and it’s a lot of hard work.”

Inductees will be given an honor cord and honor gold pin to wear during graduation ceremonies, and are encouraged to mention their membership to help earn scholarships or receive jobs in the dance industry.
