Hoping to serve up a second straight win, the Redhawks hit the court for their third District 9-5A game as they make the short drive down Rolater Road to take on Centennial starting Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Head coach Ui Womble has had the team working on more than just their skills

“We’ve been working a lot,” Womble said. “Not only volleyball skill wise, but just about being selfless and helping each other succeed so that we can succeed as a team.”

Senior Ashley Pennington is hoping to defeat the Titans with the rivalry as motivation.

“This game has always been a really fun game for us because they’re down the street,” Pennington said. “And it’s a big rivalry. “
