Jostens will be in the cafeteria until 6 p.m Thursday to take cap and gown orders for the senior class. The basic package includes a cap, gown, tassel, stole, a custom keychain and starts at $84. After Thursday, students will have to place their order online.

While many students may believe that the cap and gown is just a requirement to walk the stage, Jostens representative Laura Omholt believes there is a more symbolic meaning to the cap and gown.

“The cap and gown is a symbol of all your successes for your academic career,” Omholt said. “It will also make you look amazing when you cross the stage in May.”
