Christmas in the Square, an 11 year Frisco tradition, will be back at Frisco Square for the 2015 holiday season. The square has a light show nightly starting the day after Thanksgiving that runs through January 2, with accompanying music broadcasted on 107.3 FM, all choreographed by Jeff Trykoski.

Christmas in the Square also offers an outdoor ice rink, carriage rides, and a petting zoo and pony rides. They also host an annual toy drive for Operation Once in a Lifetime, a non-profit group that benefits the military and their families.

Frisco Square uses snow machines, holiday decorations, and lights to create a seasonal atmosphere. The big event for Christmas in the Square is the annual Merry Main Street celebration, which will be held on December 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event features elementary school choirs, the Kids Holiday Store, the Christmas Tree Lighting, photos with Santa, and assorted food vendors. The event will even begin with a parachuting Santa this year.
