Cross country chases competition in Cowtown Challenge

After a successful last meet for both girl’s and boy’s cross country, the teams look to do it again. The teams compete at Warren at 7:30 Saturday morning.

For their second meet of the season, cross country is heading to Fort Worth Friday to compete in the Cowtown Challenge at The Buff.

“We have all worked really hard this week so I expect us to all do really well,” freshman Grace DeShetler said. “For this meet, I’m hoping that we can all place in the top forty.”

The varsity girls’ race will begin at 7:00 a.m. while boys’ will start at 7:30 a.m.

“I feel like our team will perform great since each one of us trusts our coach’s plan,” senior Zach Moore said. “We all trust the process and know what we put in before getting here.”
