Losing to North Garland 42-7 in the season’s opening game, football is back at it again Thursday at Carrollton Creekview in a non-district contest.

“We want to go into the game very hyped up,” junior Connor Hulstein said. “We need to keep a good attitude throughout the game and go in focused on executing our individual jobs to get the final goal and come out with a win.”

Taking on the Mustangs (0-1), the Redhawks face a team that lost 30-0 in its 2019 opening game.

“I think we need to get used to the speed and level of varsity play,” sophomore Ford Shippy said. “I think our game last week better prepared us for this Thursday and everyone at Liberty can expect a long awaited win.”
