Remaining unbeaten in District 9-5A play, the Redhawk volleyball team moved to 8-0 after sweeping the Heritage Coyotes 3-0 in The Nest on Tuesday.

“Our expectations were to win in three,’ senior Jenna Wenaas said. “And being in first place puts a target on our backs in a way which will give us motivation to continue to work hard for future games.”

The win keeps the Redhawks in a first place tie with Lebanon Trail.

“I think we came into the game really confident and off of a really good practice,” senior Emily Nickel said. “Our expectation was obvious to win and continue our winning streak.”
