The boy’s golf team takes the course on Friday in the Bearcat Brawl. The team is hoping to use this tournament as a way to swing back into things after snow and ice delays.

Teeing off their fall season, the boys golf red team traveled to Arlington Wednesday to compete in the Texas Rangers Fall Classic at the Texas Rangers Golf Course.

“We didn’t perform as well as we would’ve wanted,” senior Jack Day said. “There’s a lot to work on but there’s also a lot of positives about today.”

Placing fifth overall, the team predicts nothing but success as season falls into place.

“I think we have a really good chance at being one of the top teams in our district this year,” Day said. “Just gotta stay positive and keep working.”
