It was another titanic win for volleyball after a 3-1 victory versus Centennial brought the team’s undefeated record to 12-0 in District 9-5A.

“I thought that we played really well the first two games started off strong took a little break the third game and finished really strong in the fourth,” head coach Ui Womble said. “I think we continue on our path to district championships I think that we continue to find challenges through matches which will keep us working hard through the season.”

After a solid start winning sets one and two 25-17 and 25-15, the Redhawks lost their grip during the third as they fell 23-25. However, the team bounced back claiming the fourth set 25-17.

“We started off really strong in the first two sets and then the third set we lost but that’s okay because in the fourth set we rebounded and we did a lot better,” sophomore Tanner Hanson said. “I’m just really happy that we came through with another win and we’re still undefeated. I hope we stay undefeated and we’re doing pretty good this season and hopefully we beat lovejoy in districts.”
