Visiting Memorial for the final time this season, football is going up against District 5-5A  Little Elm Thursday night at 7:00 p.m.

“Little Elm is very athletic with good size on the offensive and defensive line,” head Coach Matt Swinnea said. “They have a potent rushing attack. We will have to do a good job with our run defense and play with discipline in the secondary.  Offensively, it will be about execution, avoiding costly penalties, and making some big plays.”

The Lobos are currently sitting sixth in the district standings with a record of 1-2, with the Redhawks two spots behind them in eighth with an 0-3 record.

“We’re expecting Little Elm to be a challenge and we know they are a team that has had lots of success lately,” junior Will Ashmore said. “I’d like to see us go out and compete and be able to take advantage of their mistakes.”
