The volleyball team returns to the court in the second round of the playoffs Thursday at 6 p.m. as the Redhawks take on R.L. Turner at Berkner High School.

“I think it’s been one of the best seasons,” senior Jenna Wenaas said. “Going undefeated against some really good teams. We are hoping to do the same thing we’ve been doing, which is okay our game and remain composed even when they do something good.”

The R.L Turner Lions finished third in District 11-5A, with a 10-4 record and beat South Oak 3-0 on Monday.

“From Turner, I expect them to be slow on defense and offense,” junior Sue Slater said. “Also they put up a very small block. From our team, I’m hoping we can run a fast offense and get on a long scoring run.”
